I've been photographing Territory families for years, at East Point, outdoor or studio sessions on the cliff, in Kakadu, in backyards, on beaches, and wherever your crew actually feels comfortable. No studio stiffness, no bribing toddlers with lollipops for a fake grin.
I work with natural light and a documentary eye. We walk, we play, we let the session unfold. The best frames are almost never the ones where everyone's looking at the camera.
Questions
Anywhere your family feels comfortable: East Point, Nightcliff, the Botanic Gardens, your backyard, or a beach at golden hour. I'll suggest locations based on the time of day and who's coming.
That's most sessions, and it's fine. I don't need cooperation. Some of the best photos happen when nobody's trying. Bring snacks, allow extra time, and trust the process.
Comfortable clothes in complementary tones, avoid loud logos and exact-match outfits that look like a catalogue. I'll send a simple guide when you book, but the main rule is: wear something you'd actually wear on a Sunday.
Absolutely. Extended family sessions are a regular booking, just mention who's coming when you enquire so we allow enough time and pick a location with space for everyone.
